The Oviedo Catch knocked off the Daytona Beach Hurricanes, 7-3, in Florida Rookie League action at Ballpark of Oviedo. Oviedo pitcher and Colorado Springs, Colorado, native Welby Rowe had an outstanding performance. The winner was Rowe. He threw 6.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The loser was Edwin Valdez. Reidel Tates picked up his 3rd save of the season.
