The Minnesota Twins got a good effort from starter Damian Mandujano in defeating the Vancouver Cascades at Royal Port Stadium. The final score was 2-0. Mandujano, now 5-3, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 1, walking 2, and allowing no runs. Simeon Ayala earned the save for Minnesota, his 2nd of the year.

Zach Leddy, who finished 2nd in the WEST in triples with 12 in 2054, had a direct impact on the outcome. Leddy contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the first inning to put Minnesota up, 1-0.

"Runs were at a premium," said Minnesota manager Connor Sandstrom.

With the win, the Twins are 16-47.
