Threshers Lose Late to Gales
Hialeah pinch hitter Randy Mathias had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Clearwater Threshers, 6-2. Hialeah has an impressive 39-20 record.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Mathias hit a curveball from D.J. Jones for a grand slam home run. The Gales, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

Mathias described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
