The Boca Raton Buccaneers got a stellar effort from pitcher Levi Funston, helping Boca Raton score a win over the visiting Sedona Steers, 4-2. In 6.2 innings, Funston surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 0. He allowed 2 runs. E.J. Lépine closed the door for Boca Raton, picking up his 4th save of the year.

In the bottom of the sixth, Boca Raton pinch hitter Yeshua Kaplowitch put his team on top. With no one out and a runner on 1st, he hit his 3rd home run of the year. Sedona pitcher Jamal Chunthara served it up. Just like that, the Buccaneers were ahead, 3-2.
