Another game, another loss for the struggling Daytona Beach Hurricanes.

Bruce Carballo had a good game, but he could not keep the Daytona Beach Hurricanes from falling, 7-6, to the Fort Myers Flamingos at Osceola County Stadium. The Daytona Beach first baseman was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once in the loss. Odílio Rodríguez collected his 1st save.

It could have been a different outcome for Fort Myers, had it not been for Aitor Aybar, the 18-year old center fielder . Aybar contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth inning to put Fort Myers up, 6-4.

"It's going to click," said Daytona Beach manager Bryce Guerra. "It's just a matter of when."

The losses continue to add up for Daytona Beach, having now dropped 9 straight.
