Hurricanes Pick Up 8-6 Win

The umbrellas came out during the Daytona Beach-Cape Coral contest at Osceola County Stadium.
The Daytona Beach Hurricanes beat the Cape Coral Hammerheads, 8-6, at Osceola County Stadium. Aaron Cummins starred for Daytona Beach. He was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Daytona Beach reliever Blake Lamson picked up the win, while Martin Klinger took the loss for Cape Coral. Picking up the save was Duke Marshman, his 1st.
Charles Robinson chipped in a 3-run home run for Daytona Beach in the bottom of the second. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Robinson.
The Hurricanes win now puts them at 30-29.
