Chukars Tag Osprey with 4-3 Loss
The Idaho Falls Chukars beat the Missoula Osprey, 4-3. Idaho Falls pitcher and North Attleborough, Massachusetts, native Shan Ochoa led the way. Ochoa, the winner, moves to 3-5. He threw 5 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 9 and giving up 2 walks. The save went to Norberto Robledo, number 21 for him.

Cody Gross hit a 2-run double off Brit Hall in the bottom of the first, which put the Chukars in front, 2-1. In addition to the double, Gross had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"I had a good game plan," said Ochoa. "I made my pitches." His manager concurred. "It was all there," Jesus Torres said, "the velocity, the sharpness of his pitches."

The Chukars, at 34-29, sit in 5th place in the Pioneer League South Division.
