The Lethbridge Black Diamonds welcomed the Medicine Hat Stampede to an night game at Ballpark of Medicine Hat.

The Medicine Hat Stampede were defeated, 3-0, by the Lethbridge Black Diamonds at Ballpark of Medicine Hat, even though Mikey Mauldin pitched well for Medicine Hat. LaDainian Chase picked up the save, his 2nd.

Lethbridge used the timely hitting of Logan Giguere to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Black Diamonds on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Lethbridge manager Jasper Arias.

Lethbridge has won 3 straight, while Medicine Hat has lost 3 in a row.
