Late Rally Earns Lethbridge 3-1 Win
|
Lethbridge Black Diamonds starter Latrelle Hamilton pitched his team past the Casper Ghosts, 3-1. Lethbridge is now 34-24, Casper 31-27.
The game was at a stalemate until right fielder Kayden Mull came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Casper pitcher Daniel Luketich, he hit a 1-0 slider for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Lethbridge on top, 2-1.
"Tough loss," said Casper manager Charles Chaney. "But we'll learn from it."
