Loss to Blue Jays Extends Montreal Losing Streak
|
Another game, another loss for the struggling Montreal Expos.
Zach Lowe pitched a dandy of a game to help the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Montreal Expos, 4-1. The misery never ends for the Expos, who've lost 10 in a row.
Toronto took a 3-1 lead on Owen DeLuca's 2nd triple of the season. The run-scoring triple, which DeLuca hit in the top of the eighth, left Montreal pitcher Jason Noble visibly frustrated.
"You've got to be careful that you do not assume the attitude that, hey, we'll be fine. We'll be fine," Montreal manager John Sweeney said. "But we're not fine now, and it's time for us to do something."
