Legends Handed 4-0 Loss by Bowling Green
Conditions were not ideal but Bowling Green and Lexington were able to put their game in the books.

Solomon Cucchi, who is tied for 3rd in the SAL with a 1.10 WHIP, imposed his will on the Legends from the get-go. Relying mainly on his knuckle curve, the right-hander spearheaded the 4-0 Bowling Green triumph. At 86-50, the Hot Rods find themselves in first place in the South Atlantic League Northwest Division.

The Hot Rods got a big at-bat from shortstop Lucas Abler. For the game, Abler went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 14th home run of the season gave Bowling Green a 3-0 lead.

"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Abler.
