Hot Rods Rally to Win, 4-3
|
Bowling Green starter Quin Dueñas pitched well against the West Virginia Power at Appalachian Power Park. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-3, in 10 innings. Bowling Green pitcher Jace Kinman earned the win, hiking his record to 7-4. Joel Roll suffered the loss. At 79-56, the Hot Rods are currently second in the South Atlantic League Northwest Division.
Paul Roulston had a direct impact on the outcome. Roulston contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the tenth inning to put Bowling Green up, 4-3.
"This is a resilient bunch," said Bowling Green manager Scott Meissner.
