Johnson Delivers Walk-Off Win for Catfish
The Columbus Catfish besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Hagerstown designated hitter Anitelea Ardern by beating the Suns, 6-4, at Progressive Field. Ardern went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Columbus, now 85-47, holds down second place in the South Atlantic League Northwest Division.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Columbus. That's when Justin Johnson hit a 2-run home run off 24-year old left-handed pitcher Conan Watson to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"Not the sexiest win," said Catfish manager Francisco Avalos, "but I'll take it."
