The Savannah Bananas got production up and down the lineup while beating the Lexington Legends, 13-1. One standout was catcher Sulwyn Brewer. Brewer went 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5. Now 7-121, Lexington has dropped 19 straight.

Savannah grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Brewer hit a grand slam home run off Magglio Quero. His 11th home run of the season put the Bananas out in front, 5-1.
