Wichrowski Goes Deep Twice, Helps Legends Top Bananas, 9-5
The Lexington Legends defeated the Savannah Bananas, 9-5. Doing his part was right fielder Steve Wichrowski, who slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Dane Robertson recorded the save, his 1st. Even with the win, the Legends have a dismal 36-92 record.

Micah Gretz helped out the Lexington cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the left fielder went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Gretz.
