The Delmarva Shorebirds picked up a win at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium, dropping the Asheville Tourists, 3-2, in 14 innings. Benton Quinteros, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2057 draft, was the difference-maker. Delmarva reliever Dave Luke picked up the win, upping his record to 2-3. Adolfredo Valdez absorbed the loss. By defeating Asheville, the 6th-place Shorebirds improved to 64-60.

Greyson Mason delivered a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 14th to win it for the Shorebirds. For the game, Mason went 2 for 6 with 2 doubles.

"On the outside I was calm," said Shorebirds manager Dan Lueck. "But inside I was a nervous wreck."
