Intimidators Rally For Late Win Over RiverDogs
|
Amos Pitts led Kannapolis to a win over Charleston. The final score was 10-6. Pitts scored 2 times, going 4 for 4. He also knocked in 1 RBI. R.J. Sweitzer, 5-2, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. With the win, the Intimidators have a record of 74-49.
Center Fielder Gerardo Alvarado made an impact for Kannapolis, when he swatted a solo home run off Luke Cordero in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Alvarado was 1-2 with a home run.
