The Texas Rangers picked up a win at Globe Life Park in Arlington, dropping the San Diego Padres, 3-1. Jake Ross, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2053 draft, was the difference-maker. With the win, the Rangers improved to 25-35.

Texas took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Sean Darko hit a 2-run single to make it 3-1, Rangers.

Darko called it "a solid win."
