Montgomery second baseman Piero Siegrist made his presence felt in the 6-1 Biscuits triumph over the Northwest Arkansas Naturals. Siegrist went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. With the victory, the Biscuits upped their record to 80-54.

With Montgomery leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Siegrist hit a sinker from John Andrew Stacy for a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Biscuits ahead, 3-0.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Siegrist told the Montgomery Citizen. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
