The Chattanooga Scouts handed the Frisco RoughRiders a loss at AT&T Field. The final score was 5-2. Jordyn Fichtner was one of the major contributors for Chattanooga. In addition to his 2 singles and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 2. Ingemar Mattox, credited with the save, is now 25 for 28 in save opportunities. The Scouts bumped their record to 82-52 with this latest triumph.
With Chattanooga leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Fichtner hit a fastball from German Carlos for a 2-run home run. It was his 21st home run of the season and put the Scouts ahead, 4-1.
"I just tried to put the barrel on it," said Fichtner.
