Blue Wahoos Thwart Missions, 6-5
|
Though he had a stellar game, Andre McArthur could not prevent his team, the San Antonio Missions, from losing, 6-5, to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. McArthur was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The Blue Wahoos are now 77-58, while the Missions fall to 49-86.
Pensacola used a well-timed hit by Tim Ramos to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Blue Wahoos ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"What we get, we earn," Ramos told the Pensacola Observer.
