Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for RockHounds
Sebastian Good made an impact in the 5-3 Midland win over Frisco. Good went 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Midland reliever Albin Mertes picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Jacob Tacbas shouldered the loss. Earning his 32nd save for Midland was Jeremiah Whiting.

Midland took a 5-3 lead on Mikel Montes's 13th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Frisco pitcher Jacob Tacbas in the bottom of the eighth.

Montes told a Midland Bulletin reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.

The win elevated the RockHounds to 70-62.
