The San Antonio Missions weathered an outstanding game by Biloxi designated hitter Roy Mortimore to topple the Shuckers, 10-8. Mortimore went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. San Antonio, now 47-84, holds down 8th place in the Southern League Texas Division.

The Missions got an important contribution from designated hitter Reggie Price, who in the bottom of the third knocked a first pitch fastball to left-center for a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Missions ahead, 8-0.

"Wish we'd had more wins to celebrate like this one," said Price.
