Palacios Excels, Frisco Blows Out Tennessee
The Frisco RoughRiders met little resistance from the Tennessee Smokies, beating them, 15-3, at Smokies Park. A.J. Palacios led the way. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for Frisco. Frisco pitcher Jake Szilvas earned the win, hiking his record to 5-8. Nolan Bush suffered the loss. Tom Lunsford closed it out for his 1st save.

Frisco took the lead in the top of the fifth when Palacios hit a 3-run home run. His 10th home run of the season made the score 5-2, Frisco.

"Bad day," Tennessee manager Kraig Fagan said. "New day tomorrow."

The RoughRiders sit in 6th place in the Southern League Texas Division with a record of 56-70.
