The San Antonio Missions got a superb performance from pitcher Bobby Schultz, but the Montgomery Biscuits still won the game, 6-4. Schultz threw 6.1 innings allowing 1 run. Sam Hill notched his 4th save in 4 chances. The win gives Montgomery a season record of 75-53.

Montgomery used the timely hitting of Elijah Schulte to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Biscuits on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

In postgame comments to the Montgomery Gazette, Schulte said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
