Dodgers Snatch Late Win
|
The Miami Marlins got a sterling performance from pitcher Billy Ott, but the Los Angeles Dodgers still prevailed, 2-1. Ott threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. Los Angeles reliever Scott McKinnis picked up the win, upping his record to 6-2. Ricardo Balderas took the loss. Aiden Cohen collected his 18th save.
Los Angeles took a 2-1 lead on Kevin Tanaka's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Miami pitcher Ricardo Balderas in the bottom of the eighth.
"At least I did my job," Tanaka said.
Los Angeles bumps their record to 33-27 with the win.
