RoughRiders Get Plucky, 4-3 Win Over Flying Squirrels
The Frisco RoughRiders faced a tough opponent in St. Petersburg pitcher Kevin Poole, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Dr. Pepper Ballpark by a final score of 4-3. Poole went 5 innings and allowed 2 runs. The RoughRiders, at 73-49, sit in third place in the Southern League Texas Division.

W.C. Mosher was the walk-off hero for Frisco. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the RoughRiders designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This win gets us that much closer to where we want to be," Mosher said in postgame remarks.
