Nielsen, Shreveport Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
|
Shreveport Engineers starter Maximus Nielsen turned in a sterling performance against the Chattanooga Scouts, leading his team to a slim, 1-0 win. The Engineers, now 75-47, have won 13 in a row.
Nielsen was in the zone all game. He frustrated Chattanooga hitters while giving the Engineers 7.1 innings of quality work. Nielsen threw 95 pitches, allowing 4 hits and getting 7 punchouts.
