Shreveport starter Vince Hall kept the Rocket City hitters in check, helping his team cruise to a win, 9-2. The win hiked the Shreveport record to 78-44.

Hall was dominant for Shreveport. The right-hander allowed no runs on 5 hits, while racking up 9 strikeouts. He threw 96 pitches over 7 innings in the contest.

"Vince's focus was outstanding. The way he handled every moment -- when there was a little trouble, he didn't lose his tempo or his rhythm," said Shreveport manager Bryce Scott.
