Ostiguy Homers Twice in 3-2 Engineers Win
The Mississippi Braves extended their losing streak with a defeat by the Shreveport Engineers.

A good performance from catcher Zachary Ostiguy helped the Shreveport Engineers defeat the Mississippi Braves, 3-2. Ostiguy belted 2 home runs for the Engineers. The losses continue to add up for Mississippi, having now dropped 8 straight.

Hernando García helped out the Shreveport cause in the top of the eighth inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the second baseman drove in one run.

"We're not going to feel sorry for ourselves," said Mississippi skipper Sandy Estrada. "Wouldn't do any good."
