Drillers Double Up Biloxi, 6-3
|
Tulsa beat Biloxi on the strength of starting pitcher Leo Guerrero's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 6-3. The save was credited to Matt Haynes, his 5th. The win makes Tulsa 50-73.
Tulsa center fielder Maozhen Feng contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 122nd hit of the season and put the Drillers ahead, 4-1.
Feng attributed the win to his team's "tenacity."
