The Biloxi Shuckers took on the San Antonio Missions at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium.
The Biloxi Shuckers topped the San Antonio Missions, 6-3, in Southern League action at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Biloxi pitcher and Mountain Home, Idaho, native Axel Aguirre. At 57-65, the Shuckers find themselves in 7th place in the Southern League Southeast Division.
Greyson Lobb came through for Biloxi in the top of the fourth. With one out, Lobb victimized Ryan Young with a solo home run. It was his 23rd home run of the season and put Biloxi on top, 1-0.
"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Aguirre.
