Late Rally Earns Biloxi 2-1 Win

Biloxi Grounds was the site for Southern League action featuring the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and Biloxi Shuckers.
The Biloxi Shuckers did just enough to sneak past the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, 2-1, at Biloxi Grounds. Biloxi pitcher Jack Moreau, in particular, had a standout performance. The win belonged to Ramón Urbina in relief. His record improves to 2-4. Dave Keithley took the loss for Jacksonville.
The game was at a stalemate until first baseman Landon House came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Jacksonville pitcher Dave Keithley, he hit a 2-2 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Biloxi on top, 2-1.
"Tough loss," said Jacksonville manager Brady Reece. "Tough one to swallow."
Biloxi, at 54-66, holds down 7th place in the Southern League Southeast Division.
