Rocket City pitcher Norm Apolo had a large part in his team beating the Biloxi Shuckers, 5-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Derek Agyeman earned the save for Rocket City. The Trash Pandas win now puts them at 36-83.

Rocket City used the hitting of Albert Scinta to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Trash Pandas on top, 2-0. For the game, Scinta had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
