Rocco Piar was the difference-maker for the Biloxi Shuckers in what turned into a shootout with the Mississippi Braves. Piar went 4-for-4 in the 10-9 Shuckers win. Getting the save was Logan Street, his 4th. Biloxi now sits at 42-75, while Mississippi falls to 46-71.

The Braves had been locked in a 5-5 tie with the Shuckers going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 26-year old first baseman Daniel Miller came to the plate. Miller hit a run-scoring double on a 0-2 fastball from Mississippi hurler Walt DeLawder. It was Miller's 8th double of the year.

Piar told the Biloxi News: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
