Late Rally by Aces Secures 6-4 Win
The Alexandria Aces faced a tough opponent in Chattanooga pitcher Randy Klawitter, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Blue Wahoos Stadium by a final score of 6-4. Klawitter went 5 innings and allowed 2 runs. Alexandria reliever Grant Herrera picked up the win, raising his record to 4-4. Peter Martinelli was tagged with the loss. Mal Radford earned the save for Alexandria, his 24th of the year.

Had Miguel Angel Churen not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Churen hit a 3-run home run. That made the score 6-4, in favor of the Aces.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Churen.

The Aces improved to 56-64.
