Loss Diminishes Fine Performance by Heredia
Mississippi left fielder Roberto Heredia was sensational. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Frisco beat the Braves, 9-5. Frisco, at 57-63, sits in 6th place in the Southern League Texas Division.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Colin Carlson came to bat in the top of the eighth. Facing Mississippi pitcher Derril Roberts, he hit a 1-1 fastball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Frisco on top, 7-5.

"We came out with clear minds and swung the bats well," said Frisco manager John Dresher.
