Blue Jays Nip White Sox, 2-1
Hoyt Coltrane, who is tied for 7th in the EAST with a 3.26 ERA, never let the White Sox get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Blue Jays to a win, 2-1. Billy Phan earned save number 12 this season. The first-place Blue Jays hiked their record to 40-19.

Greg Dawson drew 2 walks for Toronto. The 29-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With no one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Lyle Lundquist. It was his 33rd RBI of the season.

"Tough loss," said Chicago manager Tristan Scoggins. "Tough one to swallow."
