The Midland RockHounds defeated the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, 10-7, at Arvest Ballpark. Clifford Wise, who is tied for 5th in the SL in doubles with 26, was a standout performer for Midland. His 4 hits included 3 singles and 1 double -- this in addition to the 1 run he scored and 2 he knocked in. Midland reliever Hutton Moore was the winner. His record is now 5-2. Deron Rotondo took the loss. The RockHounds improved their record to 62-53 by beating Northwest Arkansas.

Midland used a timely hit from William Herman to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the RockHounds ahead, 8-7. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.
