Isaza goes 3-for-4 in Biloxi Win
|
The Biloxi Shuckers knocked off the St. Petersburg Flying Squirrels, 8-0, at Biloxi Grounds. Aroldis Isaza was a big reason Biloxi won. The right fielder went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Étienne Laliberté, the winner, improved to 3-1. He held the Flying Squirrels to no runs on 1 hit over 6 innings, while striking out 6 and walking 1. The Shuckers are now 74-35.
Isaza was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once against the Flying Squirrels. In the bottom of the first inning, he hit a 2-run single that put Biloxi in front, 2-0.
"We were firing on all cylinders," said Shuckers manager Fernando Salazar.
