Midland relied on the hitting of Seung Yun to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the RockHounds on top, 4-3. For the game, Yun had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Midland skipper Edgar Mendoza.
