The Frisco RoughRiders weathered a fine game by Montgomery left fielder Judson Bermudes to upend the Biscuits, 4-3, at Dr. Pepper Ballpark. Bermudes was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win belonged to Victor Ochoa in relief. His record improves to 5-3. Alex Briggs took the loss for Montgomery. Brandon Falkner earned his 5th save, after closing out the game.
The RoughRiders got a big at-bat from catcher Zachary Ostiguy. For the game, Ostiguy was 1 for 3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 7th double of the season gave Frisco a 3-2 lead.
"We'll try to build on that win," Ostiguy told the Frisco Daily.
