Drillers Suffer 9-5 Setback
The Montgomery Biscuits faced a tough opponent in Tulsa pitcher Keandre Gonzales, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium by a final score of 9-5. Gonzales went 5.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. The winner in relief was Gomes Díaz. He is now 3-1. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3.2 innings. Today's win puts Montgomery at 59-50, while Tulsa falls to 57-52.

Montgomery took a 6-5 lead on Henry Brant's 12th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Brant hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Tulsa pitcher Asa Luther visibly frustrated.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Brant told the Montgomery Gazette.
