Shreveport got a terrific performance from pitcher Aiden Rioux, but it wasn't enough to beat the Biloxi Shuckers. Biloxi won the Engineers Ballpark contest, 3-2. Rioux threw 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Biloxi reliever Javier Sanz picked up the win, upping his record to 3-5. Ché Baez shouldered the loss. Vincente Torres earned the save, his 6th.

The outcome might have been different for Biloxi, had it not been for Tye Blake, the 23-year old second baseman . Blake stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put Biloxi up, 3-2. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.

"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Blake told the Biloxi Today.

The Shuckers now have a mark of 59-46.
