Trash Pandas Spoil Great Performance by Kerr
The St. Petersburg Flying Squirrels got a superb performance from right fielder Kyrie Kerr, but the Rocket City Trash Pandas still won the game, 10-8. Kerr hit 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. The win belonged to Adam Burwell in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Curtis Lynch took the loss for St. Petersburg. The 8th-place Trash Pandas lifted their record to 46-59.

In the top of the ninth, Rocket City center fielder Eli Cundiff had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Cundiff stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 10-8, Rocket City. For the game, he was 2 for 2 with 2 singles.

"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Rocket City manager Alex Salcedo.
