The Victoria HarbourCats topped the Edmonton Edge, 9-5, the lion's share of the credit going to first baseman Cao Shui. On the day, Shui went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for the HarbourCats. The HarbourCats now have a record of 58-78 with the win over Edmonton.

Ikerne Fogg hit a 2-run triple off Sonny Pitts in the top of the seventh, which put the HarbourCats in front, 6-5. Fogg had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 5.

"To get where we want to as a team, we all have to do things out of our comfort zone," Shui told the Victoria Today.
