The Victoria HarbourCats earned a close win over the Edmonton Edge, thanks in part to Bentley Tharrington. The Victoria left-hander played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Eli Brown got the save, his 10th in 15 chances. The first-place HarbourCats, at 75-60, lead the Pacific Coast League Pacific Division by 4½ games.

Angelo Meijer, who is tied for 6th in the PCL in stolen bases with 28, chipped in a 2-run home run for Victoria in the top of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
