Inland Empire 66ers starter Ronald Landreaux was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Honolulu ThunderSharks, 8-0. Inland Empire is 73-58 and Honolulu, with the loss, 49-82.
With two out in the bottom of the fifth, James Fancher put Inland Empire in front, 3-0, with a 2-run single. The 66ers went on to win the ballgame.
"Things kind of got away from us," said Honolulu skipper Jimmy Anderson.
