The bat of Marc Ponce helped the Tucson Sidewinders top the Tacoma Rainiers, 8-6. Ponce was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Tucson. Sam Auten, credited with the win in relief, is now 6-7. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 4 innings.
