The Sacramento River Cats got a magnificent effort from pitcher Yorick George, who kept New Orleans hitters in check en route to a 2-1 River Cats win at Zephyr Field. George, the winner, moves to 11-7. He threw 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 2 and giving up 1 walk. Sacramento has rattled off 5 straight wins.
Sacramento used the hitting of Morris Feely to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the River Cats on top, 2-1. For the game, Feely had 1 home run and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
