Edge Rally For Late Win Over Rainiers
The Edmonton Edge knocked off the Tacoma Rainiers, 5-3, in Pacific Coast League action at Cheney Stadium. Edmonton pitcher and Willow Street, Pennsylvania, native Laurencio Hedgspeth had an outstanding performance. Edmonton bumps their record to 62-68 with the win.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the eighth, with the game tied, Levi Gibson was at the plate when Edmonton scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Edge to go in front, 4-3.

Edmonton manager Aarón Lomeli called it "a pretty good win."
