The Vancouver Cascades beat the Cleveland Indians, 6-5, at Tecumseh Field. Vancouver third baseman Andy Vásquez collected 1 single and 1 double with 1 RBI. The winner was Vancouver reliever Webster Varra, now 2-1. The loser was Zach Merrifield. Vancouver now has a record of 32-26 with the win.

Vancouver used the timely hitting of Graham O'Neill to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Cascades on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Vásquez, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
