ThunderSharks Upend Sounds, 6-3
The Honolulu ThunderSharks downed the Nashville Sounds, 6-3, at First Tennessee Park. Sal McCurry led the way, going 2-for-4 for Honolulu. Gilroy Hovanec earned the save, his 15th, for the ThunderSharks. With the victory, the ThunderSharks upped their record to 75-52.

Honolulu used a clutch at-bat from Corey Bishop to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the ThunderSharks ahead, 5-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Bishop told the Honolulu Gazette.
