Ray Swings Isotopes to 9-5 Win
The Albuquerque Isotopes beat the Round Rock Express by a score of 9-5. Albuquerque first baseman Hudson Ray deserved the lion's share of the credit. Ray went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Isotopes. Ryder Gideon got the save, his 8th in 10 chances. The Isotopes sit in 7th place in the Pacific Coast League Pacific Division with a record of 60-66.

Albuquerque used the timely hitting of Aiden Curtis to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Isotopes on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We played hard and won," said Ray. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
